My take
Alternate reality where kissing is forbidden, rich patron falls in love with department store lady. Oh and instead of money it's slaps. Black and white. Weeeeeeeird!! But I kind of loved the mystery and absurdity. I just wish the ending had been that they'd actually gotten the kiss at least
