My take
Listening to the directors commentary on those last 30 minutes that begin with the second scene behind the coral through to the last shot of them getting whipped out of the raft by the rescue plane is the best of cinema. The whole movie isn’t perfect, but the ending makes this movie as a whole a perfect 10/10.
