My take
For Alejandra's 30th birthday we took a week long trip to NYC. It was my first trip there and it absolutely knocked me over. I'm glad I had Chicago first as a way to get started and fall in love with big cities and big skyscrapers. Because comign to New York was just like getting to see the fully actualized version of Chicago. The chaotic and older ancestor. The originator. Anyways, some friends from Chicago happened to be in the city at the same time as us, so we got together one afternoon and decided rather last minute to go see a musical. And the only one we could get tickets for was Kinky Boots. It was ok. I remember enjoying it while there but not being particularly wowed.
