My take

This was one of those books that I wish I was able to listen with Alejandra and/friends and family and talk about what their experiences were with the world cup. I don't have very many. The first one I remember was Germany and Jake across the street thought it was so cool that my parents had bought me a world cup ball (I had gotten into it just a little while playing pass and juggle with some workers up at Tuacahn if I remember correctly). Roger Bennett is an absolute national treasure and among my favorite writers and humans of all time. One more quick world cup memory was watching at BYU-I and sitting next to a kid who was really into it in my final econ class. I thought he was the coolest, chillest kid in school. He wore his corded headphones draped around his shoulders/neck when he wasn't listening and I copied that for years haha.
